Three separate Vallejo incidents leave two dead and one person critically hurt

Two unrelated shootings and a fatal crash unfolded within about 20 minutes Tuesday morning in Vallejo, police said. One shooting victim and the person in the crash died; another shooting victim was hospitalized in critical condition.

Three separate incidents in Vallejo left two people dead and a third person critically injured Tuesday morning, according to the Vallejo Police Department. The incidents occurred within roughly 20 minutes, but police said they were not connected. The first shooting was reported at 8:03 a.m. near Springs Road and Castlewood Drive. A man was taken to a hospital in critical condition. At 8:15 a.m., a person died in a vehicle crash on the 1000 block of Sonoma Boulevard, police said. A second shooting was reported at 8:23 a.m. in a parking lot at 200 Marin St. The victim was taken to a hospital and later died. Police have not released the victims’ identities or additional information about the shootings or crash.
