Multnomah County prosecutors say dispensary burglaries caused millions in losses
Fifteen people face hundreds of felony charges in a burglary investigation that began in 2025, prosecutors said. Investigators allege the group stole millions of dollars in cannabis products and caused extensive damage by ramming vehicles into businesses.
Fifteen people have been charged in connection with a series of burglaries targeting marijuana dispensaries and related businesses in Multnomah County, the district attorney’s office announced Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The investigation began in 2025, according to prosecutors. They allege the suspects stole millions of dollars’ worth of products and caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage, including by driving vehicles into buildings. The charges include hundreds of felony counts of burglary, criminal conspiracy and aggravated theft.
Multnomah County District Attorney Nathan Vasquez described the alleged burglaries as planned and carried out by organized groups using violent methods. He said the businesses were left badly damaged.
Prosecutors believe other area businesses may also have been targeted and are asking owners with information to contact authorities. The district attorney’s office has not released the defendants’ names or further details about the cases in the announcement.
