A 2-year-old boy died Saturday night after being pulled from a backyard pool at a home near 67th Avenue and Baseline Road in Phoenix, authorities said.
Phoenix firefighters were called to the home around 9:45 p.m. after a report of a drowning. They found the boy unconscious and not breathing. Family members told responders he had been underwater for an unknown amount of time.
