Woman dies after being found near Central Park bike path in Madison
A woman in her 50s was found unresponsive Monday morning near the bike path at Madison’s Central Park and later died. Police said they found no signs of foul play; drug paraphernalia was located at the scene.
A woman in her 50s died Monday after she was found unresponsive near a bike path at Central Park on Madison’s east side, police said.
Officers were sent to the area near the 200 block of South Ingersoll Street at about 6:20 a.m., according to the Madison Police Department. The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office also responded.
Police said there were no signs of foul play. Drug paraphernalia was found at the scene. Authorities did not provide a cause of death.
