Two people were arrested after a woman was cut with a knife during a robbery late Saturday on Madison’s east side, police said Monday. The woman was riding in a vehicle with two women she knew when one of them pulled out a knife and demanded money and her belongings, according to the Madison Police Department. The victim got out of the car, and the other women drove away, police said. Officers responded around 11:35 p.m. in the 3000 block of Darbo Drive. The woman was treated at a hospital for her injuries. Police said they developed probable cause to arrest the two suspects on suspicion of armed robbery.
