BARABOO, Wis. — The Sauk County Sheriff’s Department issued a Silver Alert Monday for Michele Ardith Spink, an 81-year-old woman who was last seen near Shady Lane Road and County Highway BD around noon. Spink has dementia and was traveling behind her partner’s vehicle when traffic came between the two cars and they became separated, authorities said. She was not carrying a cellphone. Her vehicle, a red 2008 Toyota Highlander with Wisconsin license plate AZC-1915, was reported near Dane County at about 2:40 p.m. Monday. It was not immediately clear where the vehicle was headed after that sighting. Spink is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds. She has blue eyes and short gray hair, and was last seen wearing glasses, hearing aids, a turquoise shirt and blue jean shorts. Anyone who has information about Spink or sees her vehicle is asked to contact the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department at 608-355-4495.
