Austell man charged after alleged assaults at three East-West Connector businesses
Police say Orlandus Cash Sims assaulted three women at businesses along Austell’s East-West Connector within 10 minutes on Oct. 14. He faces five charges and is being held without bond in Cobb County.
A man accused of sexually assaulting three women at businesses along Austell’s East-West Connector in a 10-minute period is being held at the Cobb County Detention Center without bond, according to an arrest warrant and police information.
Orlandus Cash Sims faces three counts of sexual battery and two counts of obstruction or hindering law enforcement. The warrant says the alleged incidents occurred Oct. 14 between 7:10 and 7:20 p.m. at a Panera Bread, Target and TJ Maxx in Cobb County.
Police said Sims ran from officers at the Panera Bread, where they arrested him. During the drive to the detention center, he slipped out of his handcuffs, the warrant says. Officers stopped to adjust the restraints before continuing to the jail.
The charges are allegations; the warrant does not establish guilt.
