Nashville man, 43, dies after being struck on Antioch’s Bell Road
Willie E. Tomlinson II died after an eastbound Acura Integra struck him on Bell Road early Oct. 17, Metro Nashville police said. Police said he had stepped off the sidewalk to cross the road.
Willie E. Tomlinson II, a 43-year-old Nashville resident, died after being struck by a car early Saturday, Oct. 17, in Antioch, Metro Nashville police said.
The crash happened in the 1100 block of Bell Road. Police said their preliminary investigation found that Tomlinson stepped off the sidewalk and began crossing north to south when an eastbound Acura Integra hit him.
Emergency responders took Tomlinson to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died, police said. Officers reported no signs of impairment at the scene.
Police have not released additional details about the driver or the investigation.
