One person was taken to a hospital during the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 4, race organizers said. First responders placed a person on a stretcher and into an ambulance near the north end of the Hoan Bridge shortly after 10 a.m. A runner told a television crew they had seen someone receiving treatment near the race’s mile 13 marker. Organizers did not provide further information about the person’s condition or what led to the hospital transport.
