FBI offers $10,000 reward for information on fugitive in South Florida money-laundering case
The FBI says Victor Julian Duque allegedly collected U.S. cash and deposited nearly $460,000 into accounts linked to fictitious businesses in a scheme tied to Colombia’s Clan de Golfo. Investigators say the operation has laundered more than $54 million since 2021.
The FBI is seeking Victor Julian Duque, a Colombian national accused of helping move money through a laundering operation tied to the criminal organization Clan de Golfo, and is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to his arrest.
Federal investigators allege Duque acted as a courier, collecting cash in the United States and depositing it into accounts associated with fictitious businesses. Between Sept. 26, 2022, and March 24, 2023, he allegedly deposited a total of $459,953.
The FBI says the organization has allegedly transferred more than $54 million since 2021 from fictitious businesses operating in the United States to businesses in Colombia. Duque is charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering. A federal arrest warrant was issued Oct. 22, 2025, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in Miami.
Nine people have been indicted in the investigation. The FBI says eight have been arrested and six convicted; Duque is the only remaining fugitive in the case.
Investigators believe Duque may be in Colombia and say he has ties to Pereira, Bogotá and Belén, as well as San Antonio, Texas. He may also use the name Victor Julian Duque Tobon.
Anyone with information about Duque’s whereabouts can contact a local FBI office or the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate, or submit a tip at tips.fbi.gov. The allegations have not been proven in court.
