Richland Center police take suspect into custody after downtown stabbing

A suspect was taken into custody Sunday after a stabbing in downtown Richland Center, police said.
The Richland Center Police Department said it was investigating the stabbing Sunday afternoon and that there was no danger to the public. At about 2:30 p.m., the department confirmed a suspect was in custody.
Police thanked the Richland County and Grant County sheriff’s departments for their assistance. Officials did not release information about the person who was stabbed or any potential charges.
