Portage utility work to shut West Collins Street for five days
West Collins Street will close between Airport Road and New Pinery Road starting Monday, Oct. 19, while crews work on utilities. The closure is expected to last through Friday, Oct. 23, though residents along the stretch will retain driveway access.
A section of West Collins Street in Portage is scheduled to close Monday, Oct. 19, for utility work just west of New Pinery Road.
The closure will affect the stretch between Airport Road and New Pinery Road. Drivers should follow posted detours, while residents living along the closed section will still be able to reach their driveways.
Crews are expected to finish the work and reopen the road by Friday, Oct. 23.
