A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree operating while intoxicated after a three-vehicle crash Monday afternoon at Mineral Point and South Gammon roads, Madison police said. No injuries were reported. Police said they received multiple reports shortly after 1 p.m. of a driver traveling the wrong way on west-side streets and running several red lights before the crash. After the collision, the man got out of his vehicle, removed his clothes down to his underwear and ran from the scene with his dog, according to police. Officers reported signs of intoxication and took him to a hospital for a blood draw. After he was medically cleared, he was booked into the Dane County Jail on suspicion of first-degree OWI and resisting arrest. He also received several traffic citations. Police did not release the man’s name. The dog was reported safe.
