Green County investigators seize evidence in New Glarus-area case; no arrests

GREEN COUNTY, Wis. — Green County sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant Thursday morning at a residence in the Town of New Glarus as part of an investigation prompted by cyber tips involving suspected child sexual abuse material. No arrests have been made.
The sheriff’s office tactical response team served the warrant at about 7:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Fifth Avenue. Detectives began investigating after receiving tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that allegedly involved material depicting child sexual abuse.
Investigators seized evidence at the residence. The material will be processed and reviewed as the investigation continues, the sheriff’s office said. Officials said they would provide more information when it becomes available.
