A 45-year-old Beloit man was taken to the Rock County Jail Saturday after a sheriff’s deputy stopped him near Glen and Henry avenues and investigated a suspected operating-while-intoxicated offense, according to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office. The office identified the man as Antonio Dawson and said the stop occurred at about 3 p.m. The arrest is tied to an alleged sixth OWI offense; the allegations have not been proven in court. Dawson was scheduled to appear in court at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12. The sheriff’s office did not provide further details about the stop or investigation.
