A 22-year-old man died after being shot in southwest Louisville early Saturday. Police say they found him on Lower River Road but believe the shooting happened near the LG&E plant on Dixie Highway.
A 22-year-old man died after a shooting in southwest Louisville early Saturday, Oct. 10, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Officers were called shortly after 1 a.m. to the 12900 block of Lower River Road, where they found the man with a gunshot wound to the chest. Police believe the shooting occurred farther south, near the LG&E plant on Dixie Highway.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he later died. Police have not released his name or information about a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
