Louisville housing developer LDG confirms Oct. 6 job cuts
LDG Development, a Louisville-based builder of market-rate and affordable housing, reduced its workforce this week. The company cited current market conditions, according to its chief operating officer.
LDG Development reduced its employee count in a layoff event that began Oct. 6, the Louisville-based housing developer’s chief operating officer, Jenny Heitkemper, said Oct. 9. Heitkemper described the cuts as a “significant layoff event” and cited current market conditions as the reason.
Headquartered at 535 S. Third St. in downtown Louisville, LDG develops both market-rate and affordable housing. The company did not provide further details in its statement about the reductions.
