Las Vegas landowner says convention-bound pilot may keep helicopter near Bermuda, Pebble

A helicopter that had been parked for three to four days on private property near Bermuda and Pebble roads in Las Vegas was there with the landowner’s permission, the owner said Oct. 21.

The owner said he allowed the pilot to land on the parcel because the pilot was attending a nearby convention. He also said the Federal Aviation Administration approved the landing.

The FAA had not publicly confirmed that approval. The agency had been contacted for confirmation, and no response was reported as of Oct. 21.

Residents contacted local media with questions after noticing the aircraft at the site. No further details about the helicopter, pilot or convention were provided.
