A pedestrian was hospitalized with minor injuries Saturday night after a car struck them and crashed into Arnold’s Lounge on Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine, according to St. Johns County Fire Rescue.
The pedestrian was in stable condition, fire-rescue spokesman Chris Naff said. The collision also caused a gas leak at the building, which crews had secured by 10:30 p.m. Naff said the extent of damage to the lounge was not yet known.
Arnold’s Lounge, known for its 1950s diner-inspired theme and large dance floor, gained wider attention after appearing on the reality television show “Bar Rescue.”
