Dallas investigators probe fatal blaze at Coxville Lane mobile home
One person was found dead inside a mobile home after firefighters responded to a fire at 400 Coxville Lane in far Southwest Dallas. Arson investigators and homicide detectives are working to determine what happened.
A person died after a fire at a mobile home in far Southwest Dallas shortly after midnight Friday, Oct. 16, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue information cited in local reporting.
Firefighters went to 400 Coxville Lane, a few miles north of Seagoville High School, and found heavy flames coming from the home. After crews extinguished the fire, they found a body inside.
The person’s identity and the cause of the fire have not been released. Dallas arson investigators and homicide detectives are investigating; authorities have not said whether they suspect foul play.
