GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio — Hundreds of people filled Grandview Heights streets Saturday for the final Grandview Hop of 2026, where more than 200 vendors offered food, art, music and other products and services. The open-street festival stretches from First Avenue to Seventh Avenue. It began about 20 years ago as a block party and now runs on the last day of each month from June through September. Krista Lively Stauffer, events and experiences director for the Columbus Young Professionals Group, said the Hop gives small businesses a chance to put their products in front of potential customers while creating a shared community space. Visitors could browse vendor tables and stop at businesses along the route. The event’s growth brings local merchants and makers into a public setting where residents can discover businesses and products they might not otherwise encounter. Saturday’s gathering closed out this year’s four-month season.
