A bicyclist was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle Saturday morning in the 900 block of Barnett Road in east Columbus, police said. Officers received a report of a person hit shortly after 8:30 a.m. The cyclist was taken to Grant Medical Center and remained in critical condition late Saturday morning, according to police. The driver remained at the scene. Police had not released additional details about how the crash happened.
