Two Columbus Starbucks Locations Set to Shut Their Doors Sept. 26
Starbucks is closing its Short North and Easton Station cafes as part of a nationwide shutdown affecting about 250 stores. Two other Starbucks locations in the Easton area are expected to remain open.
Two Starbucks cafes in Columbus are scheduled to close after service Saturday, Sept. 26, as the company shuts roughly 250 locations across the country.
The closing stores are at 1014 N. High St. in the Short North and 4015 Easton Station at Easton Town Center.
The Short North cafe opened in April 2025, following a stretch when the storefront sat vacant after Julep closed in 2023. The Easton location had served customers since the shopping center opened in 1999.
The closures will not eliminate Starbucks service across Easton. Locations inside Macy’s and on Morse Crossing are expected to stay open. No further details about the reasons for the closures were provided.
