One person was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 6, in Charlotte’s Tryon Hills neighborhood, first responders said. The shooting was reported around 3:30 p.m. on West 30th Street, just north of uptown Charlotte. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital. As of Tuesday evening, officials had not released information about what led to the shooting. No details about a suspect or arrests were available.
