Person dies after shooting on Simril Court in Steele Creek
A person who was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Steele Creek died, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said. Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a fatal shooting in Steele Creek after a person died from injuries sustained Saturday, Oct. 24.
MEDIC responded at about 5:30 p.m. to a call in the 16000 block of Simril Court, where crews found one person with life-threatening injuries. The person was taken to a local hospital and later died.
Police have not released additional details about the shooting or the victim.
