Man dies in shooting during dispute at Baltimore County bar
A security guard shot and killed a man after an argument at the Crackpot Bar early Sunday, police said. A woman at the bar was injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
A man died after a security guard shot him during a dispute early Sunday at the Crackpot Bar in Baltimore County, police said.
The shooting happened at about 12:45 a.m. in the 8100 block of Loch Raven Boulevard. Investigators said an argument broke out inside the bar and the man pulled out a knife. A security guard working there then shot him, police said. The man died at the scene.
A woman who was inside the bar was also injured and is being treated at a nearby hospital, according to police. Her injuries and condition were not disclosed.
The guard stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said. Authorities described the incident as isolated and said there was no continuing threat to the community.
