Four hospitalized after stolen car strikes people in Everett parking-lot fight
Four people were taken to the hospital after a stolen vehicle struck people outside a North Everett restaurant early Sunday. Police say the driver crashed nearby and escaped on foot; the investigation is ongoing.
Four people were hospitalized after a vehicle stolen during a fight outside a North Everett restaurant struck several people early Sunday, Everett police said. Some of the injuries were significant.
Officers responded at about 2 a.m. Oct. 11 to a report of an assault with a weapon in the 2300 block of Broadway. Police said a large fight had broken out in the restaurant’s parking lot, and a patron’s vehicle was taken during the disturbance.
A male suspect drove away in the vehicle, striking several people, police said. The vehicle crashed about a block from the restaurant, and the driver fled on foot.
Officers and a police canine searched for the suspect, but he was not found. Police have not released further identifying details.
