Phoenix police seek tips in fatal Laveen case involving 41-year-old woman

Phoenix police are investigating the death of 41-year-old Cynthia Saenz as a homicide after she was found dead Saturday morning at a home in Laveen.
First responders were called shortly after 7 a.m. to a report of an injured person near 35th Avenue and Roeser Road, just north of Southern Avenue. Fire crews found Saenz dead at the scene, police said.
Detectives determined that an injury caused her death. Police have not released further details as the investigation continues.
