Phoenix police seek suspect after west-side shooting leaves man with life-threatening injuries
A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being shot late Friday near 31st Avenue and Pierce Street. Police said the suspect fled before officers arrived and has not been identified.
A man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting late Friday in west Phoenix, police said.
First responders were called shortly after 11 p.m. to the area of 31st Avenue and Pierce Street, just north of Van Buren Street. Officers found the man had been shot at least once, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The suspect had left before police arrived and remained unidentified as of Saturday afternoon. The investigation is ongoing.
