A 79-year-old cyclist from Germantown, Wisconsin, died Tuesday after a falling rock pinned her and her husband on the Great Allegheny Passage near Connellsville, officials said.
The couple were riding on the trail in Fayette County when the rock fell and trapped both of them, according to officials. The husband freed himself and was taken by medical helicopter to a hospital. He was expected to recover fully, the coroner’s office said.
