A man was in critical condition after being shot just after 6 p.m. Thursday on the 5500 block of Pine Street in North Philadelphia, police said.
The shooting occurred nearly a block from the Philadelphia Police Department’s 18th District building. Officers took the man to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
No arrests had been made, and police had not announced a possible motive. The investigation is ongoing.
