Man killed, four wounded in early-morning shooting at Kensington lounge
A man died and four others were hospitalized after gunfire inside Vari Lounge in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood early Sunday. Two of the wounded people were reported in critical condition.
A man was killed and four other people were wounded in a shooting inside Vari Lounge in Kensington early Sunday, police said.
Officers were called to the lounge on the 2800 block of Lawrence Street at about 4:15 a.m. The man who died had been shot multiple times in the back, police said.
The four other victims were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds. Two were in critical condition. Police had not released the victims’ identities or details about what led to the shooting.
