Wiley Post Airport begins design work for cafe renovation
Design work is starting on renovations to the former Annie Okie’s Runway Cafe at Wiley Post Airport, with plans to reopen the dining space. The cafe had offered diners a close view of the airport runway.
A closed restaurant space at Wiley Post Airport could reopen after planned renovations to its kitchen and dining area.
Kristy Slater, the airport’s general aviation manager, said design work is getting underway for the project. The space was last known as Annie Okie’s Runway Cafe.
The plans would bring back a place for diners to eat while watching activity on the runway. No renovation schedule or reopening date was provided.
