Nashville could get baseball-and-softball entertainment complex in 2028

Batter Up Social is planning an interactive baseball and softball entertainment venue in Nashville, with an early 2028 opening as its target, the company said Oct. 16.

The proposed open-air complex would have 15 to 25 batting bays, where guests could choose baseball or softball and set the pitch speed and style. The company says the bays would use pitching machines, simulated pitcher displays and ball-tracking technology to measure metrics such as exit velocity, launch angle and distance.

Plans also include a ballpark-themed restaurant, rooftop biergarten, sports bar and lounge, training center, pitching and fielding areas, arcade, retail shop and private-event space. The company envisions home run derbies, tournaments and leagues alongside casual play.

Batter Up Social has not announced where in Nashville the venue would be built, how much it would cost or when construction would begin. It says it plans to share more about the location, investment opportunities and opening as the project advances.
