Ticket scan failures delay entry to Freya Skye’s Milwaukee show
MILWAUKEE — Families waited in the rain outside downtown’s Landmark Credit Union Live on Wednesday, Sept. 30, after scanners rejected tickets for Freya Skye’s sold-out concert. Fans told local television station WISN that the scanners showed a red light when staff tried to scan their tickets. Some families said they had driven for hours and purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, StubHub or Vivid Seats. Children and parents chanted Skye’s name and asked staff to let them in. Staff began admitting the crowd at about 8:45 p.m., roughly 15 minutes before Skye was scheduled to perform. The reason the tickets were rejected was not immediately known. Ticketmaster, StubHub, Vivid Seats and Live Nation had not responded to requests for comment by Wednesday night.
