A 47-year-old person was killed in a shooting at a Milwaukee apartment complex early Friday, and a 25-year-old was taken into custody, police said. Officers responded shortly before 2 a.m. Oct. 9 near North 20th Street and West Juneau Avenue, a few blocks from King Park. The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Milwaukee police. The person taken into custody was at the scene. Police have not released the victim’s identity or said what led to the shooting. Any charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
