Bayside police ask public to help locate 57-year-old man

Arthur J. Jones left his home on Labor Day with an unidentified person in a red-orange Hyundai Tucson, police said. Officers are seeking information about his whereabouts to check on his well-being.

Bayside police ask public to help locate 57-year-old man
Bayside police are asking for help finding Arthur J. Jones, 57, who left his home on Labor Day and has not been located, according to a police notice updated Oct. 5, 2026. Police said Jones left voluntarily with an unidentified person in a red-orange Hyundai Tucson. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark pants and black-and-white Nike shoes, and carrying a green duffel bag. Jones left his personal belongings behind and did not tell anyone where he was going or how long he expected to be away. Police said that was unusual for him and that they want to locate him to check on his well-being. Anyone with information about Jones’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Bayside Police Department.
