TOWN OF TURTLE, Wis. — Donna Redner won Tuesday’s recall election in the Town of Turtle, ousting Chairperson Roger Anclam, who had held the position since 2009. Redner received 400 votes, or 63.09%, while Anclam received 232, according to results reported after voting at Turtle Town Hall. The report said 634 votes were cast; the two candidates’ totals add up to 632. The recall effort grew out of several local disputes, including plans involving the Lathers Road Bridge and debate over a potential data center. The results put a new chairperson in charge as those issues remain significant points of discussion in the Rock County town.
