Semi-truck collision shuts down Woodbine’s I-95 Exit 14 overpass
A semi struck the bridge at Exit 14 in Woodbine, prompting a temporary closure out of caution, Camden County Fire Rescue said. Drivers are being directed to U.S. Highway 17 as an alternate route.
The overpass at Interstate 95’s Exit 14 in Woodbine was temporarily closed Tuesday, Oct. 20, after a semi-truck struck the bridge, Camden County Fire Rescue said.
The closure affects access to northbound I-95: drivers on the interstate cannot use Exit 14 to reach Woodbine, and drivers in Woodbine cannot enter northbound I-95 there. Officials said the overpass was shut as a precaution. U.S. Highway 17 is the recommended alternate route.
No information was provided about injuries, damage to the bridge or when the overpass might reopen.
