Duval County Public Schools is investigating reports of “unsupervised activities” involving student-athletes at Fletcher High School, the district said Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026. The district confirmed the investigation in an email but did not describe the activities, say when they allegedly occurred or identify who may have been involved. It said it was limited in what it could share while the inquiry is underway. “Any appropriate action will be taken upon the conclusion of the investigation,” the district said. The reports raise questions about supervision of students participating in school athletics. DCPS has not announced a timeline for completing its investigation.
