Grandview’s Endeavor Taproom Sets Oct. 29 as Last Day of Service
Endeavor Brewing & Spirits will end regular business at its 909 W. Fifth Ave. taproom on Oct. 29, after nearly a decade in the community. The company plans to keep the venue available for private events through the holidays; sister business Barrel & Bloom will stay open.
Endeavor Brewing & Spirits will close its Grandview-area taproom to regular customers on Oct. 29, ending nearly 10 years of service at 909 W. Fifth Ave., the brewery announced Thursday on social media.
The business invited customers to stop in for a final pint and thanked its bartenders. Although regular operations are ending, the taproom will remain open for private events through the holiday season. The company also plans to hold a farewell gathering at a later date, but has not announced when.
Endeavor opened in 2017, taking over the space previously occupied by Zauber Brewing. Founders Scott Talmage, Cameron Lloyd and Tyler Provo developed drinks drawing on South American, English and German influences.
The closure does not include the brewery’s sister business, Barrel & Bloom, a coffee shop and bar at 2365 W. Dublin-Granville Road. It opened in August 2025 in the former Random Precision Brewing Company space and will continue operating.
Endeavor’s announcement comes amid a series of brewery closures in the Columbus area. BrewDog shut its Short North and Franklinton locations earlier this year, Nocterra Brewing Co. closed its Powell and Brewery District locations in August, and Hoster Brewing Co. is scheduled to close at the end of October.
Until its final day, Endeavor’s listed hours are 3 to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to midnight Friday, 11:30 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
