A Delaware County jury on Friday found Modou Ngom guilty of all eight charges stemming from a chain-reaction crash on Interstate 71 that killed a family of three. The verdict, delivered Sept. 25 after nearly two hours of deliberations, included three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and five counts of vehicular assault. The jury heard testimony from Ngom and other witnesses during the trial, which began Tuesday. The crash occurred April 11 near the interchange with U.S. 36 and State Route 37. A crash report said Ngom was following too closely and did not slow his semi-truck as traffic backed up. Lynnea and Luke Soposki and their 1-year-old son, Logan, died in the collision. An Ohio State Highway Patrol lieutenant who testified at trial described the crash as among the worst he had seen.
