Upper Arlington’s Northwest Boulevard reconstruction project is entering its final construction phase, with crews set to begin replacing the full depth of the roadway the week of Oct. 5. The work, part of the project that includes the Five Points Roundabout, is expected to continue through October and into November. The schedule may shift with weather. Closures will move from north to south, with each stretch shut for an estimated nine to 14 days. Traffic will be detoured to Kenny Road. The planned closures are: - From south of Five Points to Zollinger Road: about 14 days. - From south of Zollinger Road to Ridgeview Road: about nine days. - From south of Ridgeview Road to Wilshire Drive: about 11 days. Residents should have driveway access when crews can provide it. If construction is taking place directly in front of a home, access to that driveway will be unavailable for about one week. Parking will be available on nearby streets. The phased closures mean the specific route impacts will change as work progresses, and weather could affect the timing. Drivers and residents should plan for detours and temporary access disruptions during the coming weeks.
