Catawba County authorities identify remains as Bradley Craig Nelson of Hickory
Human remains found near Catawba Valley Boulevard have been identified as Bradley Craig Nelson, 34, who was reported missing in September. The sheriff’s office said investigators do not suspect foul play.
Human remains discovered near Catawba Valley Boulevard in Catawba County have been identified as Bradley Craig Nelson, a 34-year-old Hickory man who had been missing since September, the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies received a report about the remains at about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14. The sheriff’s office identified Nelson on Monday, Oct. 19.
Nelson was last seen Sept. 14 and was reported missing to Hickory police two days later, according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities said foul play is not suspected. They did not provide further details about the circumstances of his death.
