Motorcyclist dies after collision at Chillum intersection
A motorcycle rider was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning at New Hampshire Avenue and Sheridan Street in Chillum. The other vehicle’s driver and passenger were hospitalized with injuries police described as not life-threatening.
A motorcyclist died Sunday morning after a collision with another vehicle at New Hampshire Avenue and Sheridan Street in Chillum, Prince George’s County police said.
Officers responded at about 11:40 a.m. on Oct. 25. The man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Investigators are working to determine what led to the crash. Police asked anyone with information to contact the department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
