Rabid bat found on Main Street in Cedar Park, police say
A bat found Wednesday in the 1430 block of Main Street in Cedar Park tested positive for rabies. Police said they know of no human or animal contact with the bat and urged anyone who may have been exposed to contact Animal Control.
A bat found Wednesday, Sept. 23, in the 1430 block of Main Street in Cedar Park tested positive for rabies, the Cedar Park Police Department said Thursday.
Police reported no known contact between the bat and any person or animal. Anyone who may have touched or otherwise come into contact with the bat — or whose pet may have encountered it — should contact Cedar Park Animal Control, the department said.
