Texas State University police are investigating a reported burglary and indecent assault at Cypress Hall, a campus residence hall in San Marcos, after an early-morning incident Sunday, Oct. 11. Police said an individual allegedly entered an unlocked residential room at about 7:30 a.m. Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect. The department described the person as a slim-built man about 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a dark bucket hat and a dark blanket over his shoulders, and was barefoot, police said.
