Johnson City Independent School District said Monday, Oct. 12, that LBJ High School freshman Quinn Zbranek died in an ATV accident. In a message to the school community, the district said it was focused on supporting students, staff and families as they cope with the loss. The district noted that the death may prompt a range of emotions and questions among students. Johnson City ISD contacted the counseling department at Education Service Center 13 for help, and school counselors are available to students who want support. The district also asked the community to keep Zbranek’s family, friends and classmates in mind as they grieve. The district did not provide further details about the accident.
