An adult riding a bicycle was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and Old Koenig Lane in Austin on Thursday, Sept. 24, emergency officials said. Austin-Travis County EMS reported the crash at 5:19 p.m. and said crews initiated a trauma response for the cyclist. The patient was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical injuries. The circumstances of the collision were not included in the initial emergency-services report.
