PFLUGERVILLE — Residents were asked Thursday to temporarily reduce water use as crews worked on equipment at the city’s water treatment plant. The city said the request followed overnight repairs and urged customers to turn off sprinkler systems and avoid nonessential water use while the equipment is being repaired. Reduced consumption is intended to help maintain service during the work. Without it, customers could experience lower water pressure, according to the city. Officials said they will announce when the repairs are complete. Until then, residents can help conserve water by postponing lawn irrigation and other discretionary uses.
